Ron’s Christmas Concert, held in the First Day School room on his birthday December 14, was attended by about a dozen children. Ron writes, “We sang Christmas songs with some piano accompaniment from two of the older children, and Ron told the story of how the tradition of hanging colored lights on Christmas Trees began. When Ron sang “Mama don’t ‘low no singing (smiling, clapping, yelling ‘Ya Who!’) ‘round here,” they all sang: “We don’t care what Mama don’t ‘low, we’ll sing that song any ole how.”
